Willow Retreat

About Us

Nestled in the foothills of the Cape Breton Highlands, Nova Scotia, on the world-famous Cabot Trail, is a special place called Willow Retreat. Completely off-grid, the log home sits on twenty-five acres, four acres of which are organic gardens, the rest is forest. The property is in a quiet, secluded location and backs onto thousands of acres of Crown land. If you're stressed to the max, if your Blackberry is running your life, if you're badly in need of some down time, then come and take a break from the urban/suburban grind and relax in a beautiful, peaceful country setting.

At Willow Retreat we offer a variety of interesting workshops, as well as Reiki treatments and training, meditation sessions and nature walks and hikes. We also offer custom retreats for those involved in all aspects of the creative arts.

We only accommodate six guests at a time, so you are guaranteed a high level of attention and service.

We aim to stimulate your creativity, whether it be painting a rose in the garden, putting the finishing touches to your novel, or simply sitting by the waterfall and dreaming the day away.

From relaxing on the Reiki table to picking raspberries in the garden, from walking the woodland trails to meditating beside a tranquil pond, we are confident you will find your favourite way to unwind, refresh and recharge.
