Secrets of the Emerald Sea

Secrets of the Emerald Sea....
bringing the depths to light.
A Parks Canada marine biologist and amateur undersea videographer spent two years capturing footage of the magnificent sea life found on BC’s West Coast. I wrote and directed the film that included interviews with world-leading marine life and ocean protection experts. The endearing Pacific Spiny Lumpsucker became so popular, we developed its own custom-made stuffie.
Sarika Cullis-Suzuki, marine biologist, and youngest daughter of environmentalist and scientist David Suzuki, is your guide to the world beneath the waves of BC’s magnificent West Coast.
See the Giant Pacific Octopus, shape- shifting nudibranchs, sea anemones, a six-gill shark, and the ping-pong ball shaped Pacific Spiny Lumpsucker.
Catch it now on the Knowledge Network.
